About the name
Kobukson — a ship time-tested
Kobukson (거북선, "turtle ship") is the legendary Korean warship of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, first deployed in the 16th century. Its wooden hull was clad with metal shields, and a curved dome on deck protected the crew from arrows and boarding. Sturdy, maneuverable, armed with its own cannons — it became the turning weapon of the Imjin War (1592–1598) and a symbol of inventiveness, reliability, and endurance.
In modern Korea, "Kobukson" is more than a warship. It is a symbol of mature engineering, craftsmanship, and resilience. The image appears in history books, on banknotes, in museums, and in company names.
We chose this name deliberately. Kobukson stands for what our clients value: engineering rigor, supply security, the capacity to work under demanding conditions. Every day we help Korean and international manufacturers carry their production through the Russian market — steadily, predictably, without disruption.
