R&D: development of a dielectric plate
Joint project with a home-appliance manufacturer and Polyplastic
Problem
The customer required an innovative material new to the Russian market — a dielectric plate compliant with RoHS and rated at flame-spread class V=0.
Solution
We developed the material and moulds, conducted testing, and launched series production of the adhesive-backed plate based on RP black (V=0).
Result
An innovative product successfully launched into series production for the Russian market, meeting international compliance requirements.
The dielectric plate was developed in collaboration with a home-appliance manufacturer and Polyplastic, using RP black (V=0) as the base material. The product underwent a full testing cycle and is certified under RoHS and the V=0 flammability standard.
Kobukson managed the full development process — from material selection and mould design through prototype testing to series production — delivering an internationally compliant component that had no domestic equivalent at the time of launch.
